Junior Ranger Program
Become a Junior Ranger
Explore the outdoors. Protect your watershed.
Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve’s free junior ranger program encourages kids to explore the outdoors and helps instill an appreciation for our natural surroundings. Aspiring junior rangers will learn about the history of the area as well as fascinating plant and wildlife facts, all while having a great time! The program highlights the importance of protecting the Escondido Creek Watershed and the parks we love so everyone in the community can continue to enjoy them.

- Spend time walking along one of our trails to get a feel for the nature around you.
- Complete the booklet activities according to the instructions for your age range.
